Free event in Grove Park on Sunday 11th June, 11:00am – 2:00pm. Practical ideas and benefits of making compost at home. A lively, family focussed session including games, demonstrations and microscope exploration of some of the tiny creatures that transform our garden and kitchen scraps into a useful growing medium. Learn how to harness the power of worms and other insects to create nutrient rich (and free) compost for your garden or house plants. The session includes expert talks and a composting trail.
