The Friends Of The Playhouse Open Day
Saturday 7th September, The Friends Of The Playhouse Open Day. Take a tour behind the scenes and get a sneak peek at what goes into the magic of theatre. Walk out onto the stage, visit the famous back stage crew room and hear memorable stories, see areas that are not usually available to the public and ask any questions you may have about the venue.
Refreshments will be available and activities for all the family include face painting, performances by a magician and Samantha Ball will be signing copies of her book, ‘A History and Celebration Of The Playhouse Theatre’.
Tickets for the Open Day Tours are £5 (children under 16 going free) and include a free hot drink and biscuits (soft drink for children). You can book a place in advance at the theatre box office in person or over the telephone: 01934 645544.
The first tour will start at 10:30am and then tours will be every 30 minutes, with the last tour starting at 3:00pm. Tours will take about 1 hour.
