Kewstoke Film Club will start 20th September, 7:00pm – 10:00pm at the Church Hall, Kewstoke Road, BS22 6PE and will screen an eclectic number of films – different genres and decades – with some relevance to the world we live in, once a month.
There will be no strict charge, but donations will be encouraged – £2 per person which will include tea or coffee. The first evening will include a glass of Prosecco and popcorn.
The FUCHSIA Cancer Support Group are holding their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 19th September at the Nightjar Pub in Mead Vale, 10am – 12 noon.
Plenty of cakes will be on offer with all donations going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Anybody is welcome.

What is Weston-super-Mare u3a doing in September?
On Friday 13th September, the monthly lecture will be on the topic of Lundy Island, one of the islands in the Severn estuary. Given by Andre Coutanche, it will describe the bird sanctuary and numerous features there, which makes it worth a visit. Doors open at 1:50pm with £2 admission. All welcome.
