Family History Advice Weston

Family History Advice – On 11th September, 2:30pm – 4:30pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Baytree Road, WsM, Peter Towey will give an interesting talk and answer questions about Nonconformity: what it is and where to find records. Members £1.50 Guests £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee & Biscuits.

Also we hold a free Family History advise session at Weston Library on the first Saturday of the month 2:00pm – 3:30pm.  Next session Saturday 7th September.

You will be sure of a warm welcome at our Saturday coffee morning in our old and beautiful Church hall in the centre of town – Emmanuel Church, Oxford Street, held on the first Saturday of the month – the next one on 7th September.
People of all ages and walks of life can come together for a meet-up of friends and to make new friends from 10:30am until 12:00 noon.

The Friends Of The Playhouse hold their Saturday Coffee Mornings 10:00am to 11:30am at the High Street Theatre. Hot And Cold Drinks and Biscuits are on sale. The Coffee Mornings are open to members and non members. 

Saturday 7th September, 10:30am: Theatre Open Day. 

Saturday 14 September, 10:00am: The monthly Raffle to win 2 tickets to a show of your choice (to be taken within 3 months) plus other lovely prizes. 

Saturday 21st September, 10:00am: General Knowledge Quiz only £1 per person to enter.

Dundry Community Garden

Amazing opportunities for local people to come join our opening of Dundry Community Garden. Volunteers and avid gardeners wanted. Every Sunday from 1st September, 1:00pm til 3:00pm.

Whether you like planting, building garden beds, digging, and meeting local people in your area.

We also are looking for people with limited outdoor garden space who would like to grow their own food, flowers etc with a fee of £30 a year you keep what you grow, or donate seeds to our new space to be replanted.
