A badminton club for adults of a good standard, not beginners, but equally, not competitive club players. Tuesday evenings 8:15pm – 9:45pm at Broadoak School, Devonshire Road. No uniform, but a friendly club who would welcome some new players.

We are Weston Woodturning Circle and we meet at the Football club in Winterstoke Road BS24 9AA on the third Thursday of each month from 7:00pm – 9:30pm. We extend a warm welcome to all who are interested in woodturning, no matter what skill level you have. This Month one of our members, John Dilley, will be demonstrating. Your first two visits are free and if you decide to join the club we can offer free tuition and the free loan of some equipment. Look forward to seeing you.

Free play sessions for the whole community, every Saturday!!

ParkPlay is 90 minutes of free community play, every Saturday, for everyone. Make friends, have fun, get moving!

9:30am – Castle Batch Park, Bishop Avenue, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 7PQ.

10:30am at Cherry Avenue Playground in Clevedon, BS21 6DX.

We have support groups in North Somerset/Sedgemoor area 7 days a week. All enquiries are treated in the strictest confidence.

An active club for the not so active people. We meet every Thursday at the Scout Hut, off Windwhistle Lane. Behind Devonshire Road, Crocket Club.

We have speakers, outings, entertainment & pub lunches throughout the year. We use WDC community buses for transport. We have fresh filled rolls or soup at lunchtime .

We are a friendly group so please come & join in with us.

Beloved for women. Meets at St Paul’s Church, Walliscote Road, Weston-super-Mare Thursdays, term time only. Doors open 12:30pm and a warm welcome awaits you. Comprising a talk, lunch, activities and lots of chatter! The event closes at 2:30pm.

Dancing at the Ritz Burnham-on-Sea. Every Tuesday afternoon 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Dancing includes Sequence,  some modern ballroom, Olde Tyme, some line dance. We are a sociable and friendly group, all are welcome. Cost per person £4.

We are a friendly group of German speakers who meet up once a month. We usually meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Stable Games room at 7:00pm (this date could change though, so please check our Facebook Group “German speaking group (Stammtisch) in Weston”). It’s not a lesson as such, but all levels are welcome – we chat about all kinds of things in German.  Hoffentlich bis bald!

Every Tuesday between 2:30pm and 4:00pm in term time you can be sure of a warm welcome at St Mark’s church. Our friendly community cafe is open to all. Come with a friend or make new ones while having coffee or tea and cake all served on china cups.
