Pop Up Fabric and Coffee shop

We’re  holding a pop up fabric shop when Mark Pickles will be bringing lots of quilting fabrics, wadding and haberdashery. Sewing machine servicing available – phone 01225 482413 to book a slot – and we’ll be serving homemade cakes, light lunches and cream teas in aid of Freewheelers.

It’s at Greenways Farm, 2 Lyefield Road, Worle BS22 9NX on Saturday 13th July from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Emmanuel Church Summer fete

You will be sure of a warm welcome at our Summer Fete in our old and beautiful Church hall in the centre of town – Emmanuel Church, Oxford Street. This will be held on Saturday 6th July from 10:30am until 2:00pm. Delicious lunches will be served.
People of all ages and walks of life can come together for a meet-up of friends and to make new friends.
There will be lovely homemade cakes available and a sale of other goodies including books.

Only Fools and Horses/80’s evening, Tropicana, Weston-super-Mare

Join us on Friday 5th July at the Tropicana for an evening of Only Fools and Horses fun combined with 80’s music. There will be an auction, raffle, bar, music, DelBoy style market and OFAH props including a fall through bar and chandelier. Tickets are £15 which includes food and one drink. All monies raised are for Donate for Defib WSM Project. Dig out your leg warmers or come as your favourite character. Prizes for the best fancy dress. Strictly over 18’s.

The Hard of Hearing Social Group meets generally on the 1st Monday of each month, 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Vision North Somerset, Neva Road, Weston-super-Mare BS231YD. If you have a hearing impairment, come along and socialise, swap tips and strategies, attend day trips and activities. Cost £4 including tea, coffee, cake /biscuits. Come along. The annual cycle challenge sees cycling enthusiasts take on a breath-taking 30, 40 or 70 mile course across the spectacular Mendip Hills and Somerset levels, with a fun, family-friendly 12 mile course also available.
