What is Weston-super-Mare u3a doing in September?

On Friday 13th September, the monthly lecture will be on the topic of Lundy Island, one of the islands in the Severn estuary. Given by Andre Coutanche, it will describe the bird sanctuary and numerous features there, which makes it worth a visit.  Doors open at 1:50pm with £2 admission. All welcome.

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary on Friday 27th September at the Royal Hotel from 2:00pm – 4:30pm. All members are welcome.

Family History Advice Weston

Family History Advice – On 11th September, 2:30pm – 4:30pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Baytree Road, WsM, Peter Towey will give an interesting talk and answer questions about Nonconformity: what it is and where to find records. Members £1.50 Guests £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee & Biscuits.

Also we hold a free Family History advise session at Weston Library on the first Saturday of the month 2:00pm – 3:30pm.  Next session Saturday 7th September.
